Along the way, stop at viewpoints offering dramatic vistas of Nanga Parbat and its vast glacier wall. Return to your cozy lodge in Fairy Meadows and enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars. Overnight in Fairy Meadows.
Leave Fairy Meadows and continue your journey through northern Pakistan’s mountainous landscapes. Drive along the Old Silk Road and Karakoram Highway, stopping at the majestic Rakaposhi Viewpoint. Arrive in Hunza Valley, famous for its ancient forts, welcoming locals, and snow-dusted peaks. Visit the historic Baltit Fort, a UNESCO-recognized 8th-century structure, and enjoy a magical sunset from Duiker Valley. Overnight at a scenic hotel in Hunza.
Start the day with a sunrise at Duiker Viewpoint, followed by a visit to Altit Fort, one of the oldest forts in Hunza. Continue north to Attabad Lake, a striking turquoise lake formed by a natural landslide. Explore the glacier-filled landscapes of Passu and Batura, stroll around Borith Lake, and walk the daring Hussaini Suspension Bridge. End the day with sunset views over the sharp peaks of Passu Cones (6,106m). Overnight in Gojal.

After lunch in Hopper, travel back to Gilgit, a vibrant regional capital known for its traditional markets and colorful handicrafts. Spend the evening shopping and enjoying local food. Overnight in Gilgit.
Begin the journey south, heading toward Naran or Besham, depending on seasonal road conditions. En route, drive through the dramatic Babusar Pass (4,173m), flanked by panoramic views of Tiger Peak, Lulusar Lake, and the scenic Kaghan Valley. This is one of the most stunning drives of the trip. Overnight in Naran or Besham.
On your final day, return to Islamabad via Balakot, Mansehra, and Abbottabad. Visit the ancient Buddhist ruins at the Taxila Museum, then stop at Faisal Mosque, Pakistan’s national mosque, for a spiritual moment and photos. After some final shopping and a farewell dinner, you’ll head to the airport for your return flight to Kuala Lumpur — heart full, soul renewed.
