Ho Chi Minh – Mekong River – Cu Chi Tunnels

Day 1 : KUL – SAIGON

Arrive at Tan San Nhat Airport. Welcome by the driver, transfer to hotel. Visit the the charming Post Office, Book Street and City Hall – known as the city’s major landmarks would come to our sight. Free time for lunch, pray at local mosque and shopping at the Sai Gon Square, Ben Thanh market in the afternoon. Stay overnight at the hotel in Saigon.

Day 2 : MEKONG TOUR & SHOPPING

Depart for My Tho. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3 : CU CHI TUNNELS 

Depart for visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and proceed shopping at the Ben Thanh market in the afternoon.

Day 4 : SAIGON – KUL

Free time for shopping until transfer to the airport. Bid farewell to your memorable 4-day and 3-night adventure. It’s time to wrap up this unforgettable journey!
